Scouting Grades
The spreadsheets includes scouting grades for both hitters and pitchers. The grades are on a 20-80 scale, with 50-55 representing MLB Average. Each grade is in a present/future format. Hitters are graded on their Hitting Ability, Power, Running Speed, Fielding Ability, Arm Strength and Plate Discipline/Approach. Pitchers are graded on the overall quality of their Fastball, Breaking Pitch(es), Change-Up, as well as their Command, their Delivery/Control, and their Polish/Feel for Pitching.
